The Etowah County Children's Policy Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to identifying and helping fill the needs of families and children of Etowah County. The council is a community resource that collaborates in partnerships with a broad cross-section of community organizations, groups and individuals. The councils mission is to improve the lives and opportunities for Etowah County's children and families.

Judge Joe F. Nabors, Jr.
Work Experience:
2016 Appointed to serve as District Judge of Etowah County
2006 Executive Director/ Attorney for the Calhoun/Cleburne Children’s Center. The Center is a Children’s Advocacy Center providing free services to child abuse victims and their families. The Center also helped to facilitate the prosecution of those who had abused children. Served as the state president of the Alabama Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers.
2004 Retired as a Captain with the Alabama Bureau of Investigation where he served as the Regional Commander for North Alabama.
